About Me

Hi Everyone!  For those of you who don't know, my name is Amanda and I am born and raised in Green Bay, WI.  I am a wife, fur-momma, and passionate for crafting and planners.  This blog will be all about all of that!  I will use it mainly for sharing photos and details of my craft projects, hauls, planning essentials, and of course cute pictures of my little kitty baby!  I will also use it for showcasing and promoting once I get items back up in my Etsy shop!

I am a 30 year old living in Green Bay, WI.  I have lived here my whole life.  I attended Green Bay Preble High School and graduated in 2004.  I attended Northeast Wisconsin Technical College for 4 years, never really deciding what I wanted to do.  At the end of the 4 years, in 2008, I graduated with Degrees in Administrative Assistant and Health Care Business Services.  I also received Technical Diplomas and Certificates in Microsoft Office Pro, Customer Service, Health Care Customer Service, Coding, and Medical Transcription.  At this point, my ultimate goal was to work in Health Care.  For 4 years, I worked several low-paying customer service jobs and was not having luck in the Health Care Field.  Fast forward to 2012, I was hired at Bellin Memorial Hospital working 3rd shift in the TeleHealth Department.  In December of 2015, I left my position in the TeleHealth Department and accepted a position with the same company in the Sports Medicine Department where I work as a Patient Financial Counselor.  I am now on the day shift, working normal hours and off on weekends and holidays.  It is so much easier to have a normal schedule now!

In May of 2013, I married my husband, Richard.  He is the true love of my life and such a blessing.  Although, there are times that I'd like to ring his neck - and you may hear some venting about him!

One of my favorite pictures from our wedding day - this was before we left for the ceremony site.  We held hands around the corner from each other and he squeezed my hand 3 times - hence the tears!

In the year and a half after our wedding, I dealt with many personal struggles that I continue with today.  There was definitely some dark times that some of you may know about, and it may be something I will touch on in the future.

Stemming from that, we took a close look at our lives and how we were living.  We decided to look into getting a 2 bedroom apartment, so I could have my own personal space and more room for my growing love of crafting.  We contacted our landlord and they had an opening right across the street from where we were living prior.  In September of 2014, just a month or so after moving into our new home, we adopted a little furry friend and named him Smokie.  Smokie is a now 6 year old Snowshoe Mix kitty, and he is such an up lifter and an amazing little friend!

Smokie loves cudding with his Daddy and helping him play computer games!
He loves playing with stuff in The Crafty Cove as much as his momma does!
My dear friend, Ashley, made this sweet little sign next to Smokie's bed on top the shelving in The Crafty Cove!
I became a demonstrator with Stampin' Up! in August 2015 and I absolutely love it!  Since I started, I have been creating something almost every single day, which is absolutely amazing and a complete change from what I was doing before!  Stampin' Up! makes it so easy and fun, and I'm so glad I'll be able to take you on this journey with me!  I will be sharing lots of projects here with you and I hope you love them!

Lastly, I am into all things cute, pink, crafty, and planning related.  I will list places down below where you can find me, including Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, links to shop with me, and my email.

  1. I have a Snowshoe kitty too. Her name is Lily. Sometimes when she's bad, I call her Miss Lily, and she seems to know the difference. But most times she's my Lily Baby. My kitty is mostly white and several shades of beige with blue eyes and dark patches around her eyes. She looks like a panda to me. I enjoyed the pictures of your fur baby. TFS
