Frosted Medallions Christmas Card With Stampin' Up!

Hi everyone, happy Monday!  I hope your weekend was fun!  I am here to share a clean and simple card tutorial with you.  This card I made for our team swap for this month.  I think this card is so elegant, but it is clean, simple, and fast to make.  I made 20 of these in about 30 - 40 minutes, so these would be great to mass produce for Christmas or for craft shows.

Below the video I will have a photo of the card, a list of dimensions, and a link to all the products I used in today's video.

Soft Suede
8 1/2 x 5 1/2, scored at 4 1/4

Sahara Sand
5 3/8 x 4 1/8

I hope you guys enjoyed this tutorial, let me know what you think of this card!  This is my last video until after I get back from vacation, so I hope you have a great couple weeks!  The next video I post will probably be a recap on my craft show for November 12th, so I will see you then!

Craft Show Set Up 10/22/16

Hi everyone!  Happy Sunday!  I'm here with a much awaited video for some of you!  Those of you who love craft show videos hopefully will like this one!  The video itself is super short, it is basically just a view of my craft show booth from yesterday.  Yesterday was my first of 10 craft shows for this season, and I wasn't quite sure how it would go since I made so many more different things than last year, and changing my displays from last year as well.  Overall this show was very successful, and I am so happy with how I did considering craft show season just started.

Below the video I will have some photos I took of my booth, and then I will tell you what worked well, what we will be changing for upcoming shows this year, and I will also let you know what sold the best for me yesterday!

What Worked Well

The first thing that worked really well was the usage of the crates for displays.  They are really nice to add height, and to make "shelves".  It is really important to have things at eye level when people are shopping.  Last year I had very little height, had a few things on top some decorative boxes in baskets and such, but it wasn't eye level.  The crates work well to go for a wood theme and looked so great with the chalkboards and wicker baskets.

Another thing that worked well were the chalkboard price signs.  I have almost everything marked with a price, but I also put a price on a sign.  I make about 2 signs for each product.  Last year I just made little cardstock tents with the prices, and people constantly asked how much things were.  Yesterday, I did not have anyone asking for prices.

The lightbox also worked great!  People loved it, it was eye-catching, drew people in, and was something different that nobody else had.

Switching to black tablecloths was also a great addition this year.  Last year I had vinyl type Christmas tablecloths from Wal-Mart.  They were great, but I think it was just way too busy and made it look like there was too much going on.  I do have a lot going on, but the black really helps!  The table in the back of my booth I did a red tablecloth just for a little color.

What Didn't Work So Well

We (when I say we, I mean myself and my best friend who helps me set up for craft shows and helps me a lot.  She used to do craft shows with her grandma and her mom and has a lot of great suggestions and is a great merchandiser as well.) decided that we are not going to use all of the decorative boxes and baskets.  We love the wood/wicker look, and believe it is important to have a consistent theme in your booth.  We used some today just because we only had 2 hours to throw this booth together and didn't do a practice run.  We also used a few wire baskets I had, and we just really didn't like how it looked in all the wood and wicker.

Another thing we are changing will be a great time saver.  It is great to have everything sorted by bins, but when you have to set up in a short amount of time, it can be tiring, time wasteful, and difficult to dig through bins to make sure you have a few of every style out.  This may not affect those people that only make a few of each thing, but I generally have hundreds of each item, and several different styles.  We are going to work on using Ziploc bags to bag up each style and put those in the bin.  That will make it a lot easier to sort through and grab which ones you need and put them out.  It also makes it easier to make sure you have some of each style item out.

Also, since we have so many crates now, we are going to try packing stuff in the crates, instead of packing the truck full of bins of product, and empty crates.  I originally wanted to try using the crates to pack the product, but because the crates have holes, I was worried about product falling through.  Once items are bagged up, it will be so much easier and will be a great space saver.  Some things will still have to be packed in bins, but this will eliminate a lot of the bins.

Top Sellers

I am going to list my top 10 sellers below, in order by best seller first.  There are some items I have that will probably sell better closer to Christmas.  October craft shows are sometimes a gamble, because not a ton of people shop for Halloween and Fall items at all, and some people aren't thinking about Christmas yet.  I think I got rid of a good amount of Halloween items, and what is left of those I will put for sale at half off for my next show, but I still think I sold a lot more Christmas than I thought I would.  Items like the Cocoa Mugs and Gift Tags will probably sell better in future shows.

1.  Greeting Cards
2.  Nugget Tins
3.  Mini Tic Tacs
4.  Mini Coffee Cups
5.  Bubblicious
6.  Photo Holders
7.  Nugget Packs
8.  Hershey Bars
9.  Tic Tacs
10.  Junior Legal Pads

I hope this post helped you!  I will do posts like this for future shows for you guys if you'd like them!  I will not have a post for my next show, which is November 5th, since I will be on vacation and my friend is running the craft show for me.  My next show after that is November 12th.  If you have any other questions that I didn't answer for you today, please let me know!

Hershey Nugget Pack Tutorial With Stampin' Up!

Hi everyone, happy Thursday, it's almost the weekend!  Yay!  This weekend is my last weekend to prepare before my first craft show of the season, and I only have a little bit left to do, so I'm hoping to get most everything done this weekend, and just have some supply and sign prep to do next week!  Today I am here with my last Craft Show Tutorial for the 2016 season!  I feel like I just started and I'm done already!  I hope I inspired some of you to make some of these items or to do a craft show!

Today's Tutorial is on my Hershey Nugget Packs.  I did a tutorial on these last year as well, but I did them a little different this year.  When I saw the Cookie Cutter Stamp Sets come out in the Holiday Catalog, I knew that these would be perfect for putting on these Hershey Nugget Packs, so that is one change I made, instead of using a tag.  I also changed my packaging, since we now have awesome 2 x 8 Cello Bags that the nuggets fit perfectly in!  These also hold 5 instead of 7.

Under the video, I will have a photo of today's project, a list of dimensions, and a link to all the products I used today as well.

Designer Series Paper for Nuggets
1 x 3

I hope you enjoyed this tutorial, and I hope you found one of my tutorials helpful!  I'd love to know what you think about these Hershey Nugget Packs!

I'll be back next week with another video, it will probably be back to making cards for a little bit!  From now until Christmas, I will try to post 1 - 2 videos per week, but I am going to be super busy coming up as well!  My first craft show of the season is next weekend, and the weekend after that I am going out of the country for a week and a half on vacation, and then I have craft shows every weekend through the weekend before Christmas, but you know I will make time for crafting and some videos!  Happy crafting!

I am making 100 of these, and as of the time this video is live, I only have 25 more to make, then I'll be on to Hershey Nugget Packs, which I will have a tutorial on later this week.

Down below I will have the link where I buy the tins, and I will also have a photo of this tin we are making today, a list of dimensions used, and a link to all the products used today as well.

Mini Coffee Cup Tutorial With Stampin' Up!

Happy Saturday everyone!  I have a fun tutorial for you guys today!  These are some Mini Coffee Cups I am going to alter/decorate and fill with candy for my craft shows!  I will actually be working on these next week - my tutorials are a little out of order!  Today I am going to start working on Hershey Nugget Tins and hopefully by tomorrow night I can start on Hershey Nugget Packs, and late next week will be making these Mini Coffee Cups, then I'll be done with everything!  I will have two more tutorials next week for you on the Hershey Nugget Tins and Packs, so stay tuned for those!

In the meantime, here is my tutorial on the Mini Coffee Cups!  I will have links below where to get the Mini Coffee Cups, and a link where the die for the wrap is sold, although it is out of stock at this time and probably will be for awhile.  You can make your own template by disassembling a cup and tracing it to fussy cut.  I was able to find someone that was willing to sell their die to me, which I was so happy about because I really didn't want to fussy cut 100 of these wraps!

Wine Bottle Tags With Stampin' Up!

Hi everyone!  Happy Tuesday!  I hope your week is going well so far! I have a super fun project to share with you today, and it is a cute little wine bottle gift!  You could also use these on those fancy bottles of sparkling grape juice or cider around the holidays if you are not a drinker!

I just want to shoot out a quick disclaimer that this is something you probably cannot make for craft shows.  Of course this depends on your state laws regarding liquor, but here in Wisconsin I would need a liquor license to sell these at a craft show, and they are very expensive, so it just isn't worth it for me.  These will be used for a lot of gifts this holiday season!

These are mini bottles of wine, probably enough for a good glass of wine.  My grocery store had them on sale for $1, and I bought around 50 of them, so this is a great idea for an inexpensive gift that looks fancy!

I will have photos of my project down below, as well as a link to all the products used in today's video.

I really loved how these turned out, and they are super cute and very elegant, perfect for birthdays or for celebrating this holiday season!  If you have this bundle, I'd love to see what creations you come up with!

Ultimate Pink Blog Hop With Stampin' Up!

Welcome to the first ever Ultimate Pink Blog Hop – a collection of ideas from Stampin’ Up! demonstrators all over the globe featuring shades of pink in honor Breast Cancer Awareness Month.  Most of us know somebody who has or our own lives have even been affected by breast cancer, and I truly believe that crafting is a great form of therapy!  Today I will share my project for Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

Since I have been working on a lot of craft show projects lately, I had some extra sticky notes laying around, and one of them happened to be hot pink, so I decided to make something with that.  This is another form of a sticky note holder, but different than the ones I usually make for my craft shows.

I love all these different shades of pink together, and a project of mine wouldn't be complete without a little bling!  Here are the dimensions I used for this project:

Melon Mambo
3 1/4 x 12, score at 3 7/8, 4 1/4, 6 1/4, and 8 1/8

Flirty Flamingo
3 1/8 x 3 3/4

Blushing Bride
2 7/8 x 3 1/2

Flirty Flamingo Envelope Paper
3 1/8 x 3 3/4
2 5/8 x 3 1/4

The fold on this was a little bit tricky at first, so next week sometime I will do a video tutorial on another one of these, but once I played with it a little bit it was super simple!

The easel stands up and looks super cute that way sitting on a desk, but it also folds flat to put into a purse or a drawer.

And of course I used a ton of bling on this!  This would also look great with Wink of Stella over the heart or the hope.  I used the In Color Envelope Paper for the first time on this project  because I loved the pattern and I was all out of the Flirty Flamingo polka dot DSP that I originally thought I would use!

I had a great time making this project, and I hope you like it too!  I'd love to hear what you think!  The link to all the products used in today's project will be at the end of this post.

I am excited you  are here. To continue to be inspired whether you’ve come from the person previous to me or after me (Amanda Rogers)  on the list below all participants are listed to help you as you journey among us being filled with pink inspiration.

Craft Show Tips & Tricks

Hi everyone!  Happy Saturday, I hope your weekend is off to a great start!  I have my Craft Show Tips & Tricks video that I promised I would have last week!  This video is super long, so if you are one of those people that don't like long videos, I'm sorry!  I had tons of questions and wanted to give you guys as much information as possible!  I know I still probably forgot a bunch of stuff I wanted to say, so if you have any other questions please leave them in the comments or shoot me an email and I'll do my best to answer them!

Below the video, I will have photos of my booths from last year, but a lot of my pictures got lost between my camera and my computer, and may have gotten deleted.  I will be sure to post blog posts after each of my shows this year with more updated photos.  I will also post a few pictures of different display items that I use.  I will also post links to some of the places I get displays and other things from for reference.
