Color Challenge Card With Stampin' Up!

Hi everyone, I hope you are all having a great day!  I'm getting some much needed time in my craft room today!  The husband is taking a nap and both kitties are taking naps, so I have a bit of quiet time!  Today's card is for my team's color challenge for this week.  This week's colors are Bermuda Bay, Pool Party, and Gold!

This is the card I came up with, and I love how these colors look together!  The color challenges are great for putting new colors together that I probably wouldn't have done without the challenge!  This was a super simple card using just one bundle!  This way you can see how easy it is to create something with one set and minimal stamping!

I hope you liked this card, let me know what you think!  As always, there is a link for all products used today down below.  Thanks for stopping by and I'll see you again soon!

4th of July Theme Challenge Card With Stampin' Up!

Hi everyone!  It is Wednesday night and I am in a great mood!  My vacation started as of 5 pm this evening and I have the next 7 days off of work!  Yay!  I started my vacation with a little nap, and then I went and got my nails done with my bff!  And they match my card today, how cool is that??

Today's card is for my team's weekly theme challenge and this week's challenge was 4th of July!  There are so many great ideas for 4th of July cards, but I decided to keep this one simple!  I wanted it to look a bit like a firework - don't mind my sound effects in my video LOL!  I used the Work of Art stamp set as the trail of the firework and the Star Framelits as the firework!  I think it turned out cute and it was super simple!  This video was only 6 minutes long - that's like a record for me!

Here is a look at my clean and simple card - and my new nails!  Of course my toenails match too!  I will leave a link down below with all the products used in today's card.  I hope you like it, let me know what you think!

I'm hoping to make a lot of videos for you guys this week since I'm on vacation!  We were going to go up north, but can't leave baby Olivia by herself just yet, so we are just staying around home.  I'm hoping to get some beach time in, and get some things around the house cleaned up, and of course lots of crafting!  I'll talk to you all soon!

Card Club & An Announcement With Stampin' Up!

Hi everyone!  I am here with 2 fun announcements!  The first one is about my Card Club that I'm starting and the second is about the new addition to our family!

First off, sign ups for my card club are starting right now!  For $30, you get a whole stamp set, and materials to make 10 cards.  There will be 2 each of 5 different cards.  You will get photos of each card, so you can CASE them, or you can make your own with the stamp set and materials!  The fee also includes shipping, so this is a great deal!  This is for US customers only, so I'm very sorry if you are outside of the US.  My contract with Stampin' Up! doesn't allow for products to be sent over international borders.  If you are interested or have any questions, please comment or send me an email at stamprightmeow@gmail.com.  Sign ups for my Card Club close on July 8th, and there is no on going commitment to remain in the card club, as I will post a new club every month.  I hope to see you all in my card club!

My second announcement is the new addition to our family!  In my last video I mentioned I was filming so late because I was out picking something up and wanted you guys to guess what it was.  Lisa was the only one that guessed correctly, and yes, we got a baby kitty!  I'm so happy to introduce you guys to Olivia!  She is about 7 to 8 weeks old and is just the most precious thing ever!

Of course we are already taking selfies together in my craft room!  We are really hopeful this time around that we got a kitty that will get along with Smokie!  So far she is pretty scared of him, but she is so young and new that we know it will just take time.  So far they are feeding together and having very little interaction, just to take it slow.  We haven't had any major problems yet!  Lisa, please contact me to work our your prize!

I will have one more video this week for you guys, probably tomorrow night or Saturday morning before I head out of town for the weekend with a few of my girlfriends!  I hope you are all having a great week!  Happy crafting!

Challenge Sympathy Card With Stampin' Up!

Hey everyone!  It is a last minute video for me because I went to pick up something special tonight, can you guess what it is?  First person to guess either on my video or on my blog post will get a prize!

Anywho, this card is for this week's theme challenge on my team's Facebook group and the theme is sympathy.  I came up with this simple design, I can't really say it's clean because it is a little messy, but I think it look beautiful and simple!

Don't you love how shimmery this is?  This card could also be used for different occasions with a different sentiment!  All the products used are linked down below for easy shopping!  I'll be back with another video tomorrow with an exciting announcement!  Happy crafting my dear friends!

Pretty Kitty Father's Day Card With Stampin' Up!

Hey there my crafty friends!  Happy Saturday!  I got up bright and early to film this for you guys today, because it is a beautiful weekend here in Green Bay, and I am headed to the beach!  There's nothing like a good weekend of crafting, sunshine, laying out, and having a beverage!  Today I am making a Father's Day card for my husband!  We have no kids, but Smokie is like our child, and my husband is the best cat daddy, so he deserves a card!  I knew from the beginning that I wanted to use the new Pretty Kitty stamp set for his card, but wasn't sure where I wanted to go with it, so I took to Pinterest for some inspiration!  I found a lot of really cute samples, so I'll be going back for more inspiration in the future!

I love how this turned out, I think the colors are perfect for Father's Day - not too crazy bright and more guy-ish colors!  I'll leave the dimensions down below if you want to copy this card for a pet daddy or for another occasion!  I will also have a link for all the products used for you as well!  I hope you all are having a great weekend!  I'll talk to you next week!

Color Challenge Cupcake Card With Stampin' Up!

Happy Friday my crafty friends!  I'm so glad it's finally the weekend!  I have a fun card to share with you today!  This card is for the weekly color challenge that is happening on my Stampin' Up! team's Facebook page.  This week's color challenge was to pick a color family and use 3 colors in that family.  Those colors are the only ink and cardstock you can use with the exception of a neutral ink color and Whisper White cardstock.  I chose the blue/green color family and used Bermuda Bay, Soft Sky, and Pool Party.  I can tell 2 of these colors I don't use the ink a lot of, because they were so juicy!  So this is a great way to use some different colors!

I used the Sweet Cupcake stamp set for this challenge, and this is another one of those three step stamp sets.  Just like the Baby Bear stamp set that I did all the different color combinations with, you can do the same thing with this stamp set!  I actually looked back at that post to see what colors I wanted to use.  That post was back in April if you want to refer back to it!

You could also make this card a lot more fancy by adding Wink of Stella, or by using the dies that coordinate with this set to pop one of the cupcakes up or to paper piece them.  This would also be a great set to make in all different color and give as a gift set.  Below I will have the dimensions I used and links to all the products as well for easy shopping.

If you are not following my website by email, make sure you are doing that!  There is a spot to put your email in the upper right hand side right under the banner.  Starting next week I will be pulling random emails and sending prizes to those people!  I will have another video tomorrow, which will be another Father's Day card of those of you that might need ideas for kitty or puppy daddies!  Until then, happy crafting!

Bermuda Bay
8 1/2 x 5 1/2, scored at 4 1/4

Soft Sky
1 x 3

Whisper White
5 3/8 x 4 1/8 - I used 2 of these

Father's Day Card CASE With Stampin' Up!

Hi everyone!  I'm so excited to share this card with you!  This is something a little different for me!  Someone that is a team member in my Stampin' Up! group makes the most beautiful, detailed, and artistic cards like everyday!  Everyday she blows my mind!  For today's card, I decided to CASE (copy and share everything) one of her Father's Day cards!  I only need to make 2 Father's Day cards - one for my daddy, and one for my husband.  I already have kind of an idea of what I'd like to do for my husband's card and of course it involves the new Pretty Kitty stamp set - and that video is coming later this week.  The first photo I have down below is the original card that I got the inspiration from, and then you can see my take on it.  They are similar, but very different!

Here is Lauren's gorgeous card!  I used a lot of the same elements that she did such as the stars and the swirls.  I did use some different colors and designed mine a little bit different.  As you can see, she has a lot of great artistic ideas like the thread, stars stamped in the background, splatter in the background, and a lot of smaller heart punches.

Here is the card that I came up with using Lauren's card as inspiration.  I used Dapper Denim and used gold glimmer paper instead of silver.  This is still a very simple card to put together, but definitely has a lot more elements than I usually include on a card.  It was fun to try something different and a little more detailed!  I absolutely love how stunning Lauren's card is, but I love how mine turned out as well!  Anymore glitter and my dad probably wouldn't like it!

I hope you enjoyed this tutorial, and be sure to stay tuned tomorrow for a sale in my Etsy shop in the afternoon or evening, and later this week I will have a Father's Day Kitty card for my husband!  A list of all products used in today's video is down below.  Happy crafting everyone!

I just love how nice these colors look come together!  This is a combination I probably wouldn't have otherwise used!

Birthday Challenge Card With Stampin' Up!

Hi everyone!  Happy Friday!  It has kind of been a rough week for me, so I'm so glad it's Friday!  It is supposed to be hot here this weekend, so I am hoping to soak up a little sun, and do lots of crafting, of course!  Over on my Stampin' Up! team's Facebook page, we are doing theme challenges.  The challenge this week is a birthday theme.  I decided to pull out my Rose Wonder stamp set and Rose Garden dies to make this fun card!  This card is pretty simple to make, it's just gluing down the intricate die that can be a little tricky!

Here is how my card turned out!  I think it is beautiful, yet clean and simple!  This would be a great card to make as a set in a bunch of different colors and different sentiments!

I started with a Whisper White Thick card base, and made 2 layers - 1 in Watermelon Wonder, and one in Whisper White Thick to die cut the rose out of.  A little bit of stamping and assembling, and the card was complete!

I also wanted to let you guys know about an awesome promotion that is going on until 11:50 pm Mountain Time tonight!  If you are not yet subscribed to Paper Pumpkin, you can get your first Paper Pumpkin for $5!  That's right, $5!  You can cancel it at anytime, but after your first box, it is $20 per month until you cancel.  I love my Paper Pumpkin boxes, they are great for gifts, quick projects, or crafting while traveling or on the go!  You can go to this link and follow the directions there to sign up!  Remember, this promotion only goes until 11:50 pm Mountain Time tonight!  Please let me know if you have any questions!

Making Ink Spritzers With Stampin' Up!

Hi everyone!  I have a super quick post for you tonight!  It's after midnight and I need to get to bed!

Tonight I started making ink spritzers for all of my Stampin' Up! colors!  I can't wait to use these!  I just did 2 colors to show you how quick and easy it is!

You'll want to fill up your spritzer about 70% of the way with water or rubbing alcohol.  I am using rubbing alcohol because it dries quicker!  After that, put between 5 and 20 drops of reinker into the spritzer, depending on the color you want.  You can always add more if you want a more intense color!

And that is all there is to it!  I also used a 1/2 inch punch to punch out a piece of the coordinating paper to put on top of the spritzer.  I'll be storing these in a marker storage system, so with the color on top, it'll be really easy to find the one I need!

I hope you found this video helpful or inspirational!  I have a list of all products used down below!  I'll be back tomorrow with a project for my team's challenge this week.  See you soon!

Color Challenge Bag With Stampin' Up!

Hey everyone, happy Thursday!  I hope you are all having a great week!  Pardon my voice, I seem to be losing it a little bit!  Hopefully it's just from sleeping with the windows open at night.  I have a fun project for you today that isn't a card!  I have a treat bag that can be used to put a card in, a little treat, or a small gift!

Over on my team's Facebook group, we are having weekly color challenges.  This week's color challenge was using Rich Razzleberry, Sweet Sugarplum, and Flirty Flamingo.  I think these colors look amazing together!  The rules are that the paper and ink can only be in those colors, but embellishments can be in any color!

Here is the project that I came up with!  I think it looks pretty cute!  You could even dress it up more by loading Wink of Stella on the flowers!

Be sure to watch the video for a little trick on turning the flower into a butterfly!  You could make it look more realistic with a body and antenna too!

I'd love to know what you think about this sweet bag!  I'll leave the dimensions I used along with the products listed down below.

Just a note that I am having a garage sale this weekend, so I won't have another video posted until probably Tuesday night.  Be sure to go check out some past videos you may have missed!

Sweet Sugarplum
4 1/2 x 6 1/4
3 x 3

Flirty Flamingo
3 1/4 x 3 1/4

DSP
4 x 5 3/5
