February Update

Hey everyone!  I know it has been a little bit since I have posted or made a video, but I wanted you to know that I'm still alive!  I was busy getting adjusted back to normal life after my little mini trip to California.  Last week I had to go to the dentist for dental pain, and I was sick for most of last week too!  I have also been working on getting my craft room remodeled, so between being sick and that, there wasn't any time or room to be crafty!  I will be working on finishing touches on my craft room this week, and I am still a little sick, so I'm just going to take my time.  I should be able to film a new craft room tour for you guys next week and get back into the swing of things!

I will post the winner for February's giveaway later this week!

Hi Everyone!

Happy Friday!  I just wanted to write a quick post and update you that I was going to try and film a few videos last night to have uploaded for the weekend, but I just ran out of time!

I am heading to Chicago in a little while!  Both my husband and myself are driving down and going to IKEA this morning to get a whole new setup for my craft room!  He is going to come home with all my stuff and start putting things together while I am gone.  I am heading to the airport and flying out to LA this afternoon and will be gone until Sunday.

I will try to film a Plan With Me on Sunday when I get home, but it really depends on how tired I am.  I have an overnight flight, so hopefully I will sleep on the plane, but I also have an almost 4 hour drive home, and it is supposed to be snowing, so we will see how it goes!

Just wanted to give you guys an update on what is happening this weekend.  Happy crafting!

Candy Purse with Stampin' Up!

Hi everyone, happy Thursday!  It is almost the weekend and I'm so excited!  My weekend starts as of 4:30 today, woo hoo!  Today I am sharing a super cute little candy purse or treat bag with you that is small and great for little treats or gifts!

I've been loving Watermelon Wonder Cardstock and the Birthday Bouquet DSP lately, so I used it again today!  I used the gift bag punch board to make this little candy purse.  It is easy to use and has the instructions on it as well.  If I didn't explain it well enough, I apologize, but I know there are a ton of great tutorials out there too!

These fit Air Head candies in them perfectly but would be great for any other candy or a small gift!  These would be great to mass produce for treat days at work or for your kiddos school events and can be interchangeable for any event or holiday!

The stamp set I used is the new Party Pants stamp set, which is a brand new set just released for Sale A Bration, and you can earn it free with a $50 purchase!  You can pick a free item from the Sale A Bration Catalog for every $50 you spend during Sale A Bration!  This birthday set is great for all the smaller sentiments it has for our smaller birthday projects.

The punch I used for the sentiment is from the Clearance Rack, so be sure you are checking the Weekly Deals and Clearance Rack often, there is a ton of great stuff!

Also, I just noticed this is the first project in awhile that doesn't have any glitter, can you believe it!?  I hope you enjoyed this little Candy Purse, let me know what you think

Tic Tac Holders with Stampin' Up!

Happy Wednesday!  I am here with a unique little gift!  I saw a post on Pinterest of these adorable Tic Tac covers, and I had to make them!  I figured out how to do it and replicated the sample I saw, using a different color and adding a scalloped oval punch.  I love how these turned out and how super quick they are!

I used the Bermuda Bay cardstock on the first few I made.  This is such a pretty color and I love how they turned out!  The sample I saw used Wisteria Wonder, so I made one of those as well with the grape Tic Tacs, and that is pictured at the end of this post.

There is a bit of an overhang on the cardstock, and I think it looks great, but you can always adjust your measurements if that bothers you.

This tiny sentiment and cup from the coordinating die set work perfectly for this project!  And the little sparkly heart just adds enough glitter for me!

These would be so fast to mass produce and give as coworker, teacher, or happy mail gifts!  I'll have to find some Tic Tacs to order in bulk!

Here is the same thing, but in Wisteria Wonder.  I love how this one looks too!  Wisteria Wonder is one of my favorite colors - mostly because it is almost the same as our wedding color!  This is almost the same as the sample that I found on Pinterest, but I added the solid color scallop oval behind the sentiment - I was afraid the Whisper White would just blend in with the DSP too much!

I hope you loved this little project - it sure was fun to make!  I think this will be a "must-make" for my Spring Craft Show this year!  Let me know what you think!  If you make some of these cute little Tic Tac Holders, I'd love to see what you make!  Happy Crafting!

Deer Birthday Card with Stampin' Up!

Hi everyone!  I hope you are having a great week!  I'm here with a cute birthday card that could be easily changed for other occasions!

I used the Made With Love stamp set that I have been using quite a bit over the past week or so to make a cute birthday card!

I love this ice cream cone paper so much from the Birthday Bouquet DSP!  It is so pretty!

I also used the floral paper from the same DSP and love how this one looks too!

I made 30 of these cards for my Stampin' Up! team swap, and they went really quick!  I think including filming the video, I made 30 of these in just a few hours!

I am loving the Pool Party Glitter Ribbon, it is so pretty!  It doesn't shed any glitter either, which is a plus!  The ends do fray quite a bit, but once I trimmed them up it was all good!

I say there can never be too much glitter, so I also added a scallop circle layer of the Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer Paper, it is so pretty!

I love how this card turned out, and you could switch out the sentiment for Easter, Baby, Just Because, Thank You, etc and it would work for any of those!

I hope you liked this sweet card!  Happy crafting!

Donut Card with Stampin' Up!

Hey crafters!  Happy Monday!  I hope you all have a great week this week!  I am starting this week with a yummy donut card!  Who doesn't love to start Monday mornings with donuts!  This card is really simple to make and I'm so excited about it!

Who wouldn't love to get a donut shaped card for their birthday?  I know I would love it!  There isn't a whole lot to making this card, just some really simple die cutting and stamping.  Be sure you watch the video to see how to assemble to actual donut, which is probably the most difficult part!

I used sentiments from 3 different stamp sets, but you could stick to using just one if you are on a budget, don't have a lot of stamp sets, or are using this for a workshop and don't want to tote so many stamp sets around!  I am using this card for my swap card for OnStage in April, which is Stampin' Up!'s convention.  I am planning to make over 100 of these, so I need to get started!  I think this would also be a great card to use in my workshops!

I finished the donut off with some glitter, because we all know how I feel about glitter!  Gotta have it!  I used the Dazzling Details, which is so simple to use, and it dries pretty quick!  No messy glue and loose glitter flying all over!

I hope you love this card as much as I do!  Please let me know what you think!  I'd love to see your donut cards if you decide to make one!

Happy Crafting!

Plan With Me: Pink & Purple

Hi everyone!  It's time for planning again!  This is one of my favorite times of the week - when I can sit down and make my planner all pretty and see what is in store for the next week!

I don't have a ton to say about my planner this week, since I pretty much plan the same way every week, but I love how the pink and purple look this week!  Those are my favorite colors!

I decided to do something writing in my Plan With Me this week, so you can see what goes on and my thought process - which is usually pretty scattered!  As you can see in my pictures, I did add a few things after the video was done.

I blocked some of the boxes off during the weekend for my business section, where I would usually have a lot going on, but since I will be out of town, I decided to decorate it with pretty boxes!

I hope you enjoyed this Plan With Me this week, even though it is pretty long!  I'd love to know what you think!

Happy planning and happy crafting!

Baby Shower Bag Card with Stampin' Up!

Hi everyone!  I have a fun card to share with you today that matches the party favors I made in my last video!  This is a super cute card that has a unique twist to it.  This is a bag card!  I saw something like this on another blog or video for a birthday card and thought it was really cute!

This card uses a treat bag as the base of the card, and the focal point adheres to the fold you make in the top of the bag!  It is super quick and simple to make, and is perfect for a little treat or a gift card!

I used the same kitty that I used when I made the favors for Krystina's baby shower.  I just love this little kitty!  The sentiment that was used in the previous project is actually attached to the kitty, so I cut them apart.  I know that is scary for some people, but I have no problem cutting my stamps apart if it will help me to get more use out of them.  You can always put them back together on your clear block to stamp them together in a later project.

And we all know it wouldn't be a card of mine without a little sparkle!  All you need to do to make this bag card is fold the top portion of the bag down to make a flap.  I cut the Watermelon Wonder piece at 3 x 4 and the Whisper White piece at 2 3/4 x 3 3/4 to layer.  I did my stamping on the Whisper White and adhered to the Watermelon Wonder.  On the back top of the Watermelon Wonder, you just use one line of adhesive and adhere it to the folded flap on the bag!

You can use the back of the piece to write your message, and put a little treat or gift card inside!

I hope you enjoyed this bag card video, let me know if you liked it, and if you make one I'd love to see yours!

Baby Shower Favors with Stampin' Up!

Hi everyone!  I'm here with another project that is a little different!  I am flying out to LA next weekend for a very dear friend's baby shower and I wanted to make some cute little favors for her shower!  These are just like the chocolate covered oreos I made in one of my videos last week, but these have a cute little baby bootie on them.  I also came up with some different packaging that I am in love with!

These are a perfect little favor for a baby shower, and I love how cute that little kitty is!  If I spent more time coloring him, he could look just like Smokie!

These oreos fit perfectly in the 4x6 cello bags we have!

This is another treat that is super quick to make.  I ended up making 25 of these.  It becomes so easy when you can mass produce, so I cut everything at once, stamp at once, color and once, and assemble at once, which really cuts down on the time!

What is great about these is that you can make something like this for any occasion and they are easy to do!  I love making treat packaging so much!

Of course this project also has glimmer, I just can't go without it!  It is so pretty and fits with this project so well!  I am so excited to send these off to Krystina before my arrival!

I hope you guys enjoyed this project, I'm excited to see what you think!  Don't forget to enter for this month's giveaway, I just love reading all your comments!

Craft Kits with Stampin' Up!

Hey everyone!  I hope your week is off to a great start!  I have a fun little project for you today!  I was inspired by a photo I saw on Pinterest of someone using the stamp cases from Stampin' Up! to store some of their embellishments in.  I thought this would be a great little gift for new demonstrators on my team!

I think these are just adorable and are so easy to make!  You can store all kinds of little goodies in these cases!

I used a cute stamp from the Better Than E-mail stamp set, which has some great "creativity" sentiments and great stamps for demonstrators.

These were so easy to make!  All you need is a piece of designer series paper that measures 11 1/4 x 7 for the inside and some scraps to decorate!  I put this together in less than 5 minutes!

And of course I couldn't go without the glitter on this project!  If you couldn't tell, I absolutely love the glimmer paper!  I always stock  up, so I'm sure I'll never run out!

I put a bunch of different adhesives in here to get a new demonstrator started!  I will be sending these out to all my new demonstrators, but even if you are already on my team, you will be getting one of these in the mail too!

You can also use these cases to store your rhinestones, pearls, washi, or other embellishments.  This would also be super as a gift set.  You can fit some handmade cards with envelopes, a few stamps, and a pen inside and decorate the outside beautifully!

I hope you enjoyed this little project today!  Please contact me if you have any questions, or are interested in joining my team.  I can go over all the details with you and let you know all the great benefits!  I'd love to have you!

Plan With Me: Valentine's Day

Happy Sunday everyone!  I hope everyone had a great week!  I'm still on Valentine's Day, but here with something a little different today, my planner!  In this video, I'm going to share with you my planner, how I pre-plan in my planner, and putting stickers down for Valentine's Day week!  I think this turned out super pretty and I hope you love it!  Sorry this video is a little long!

This is how my planner looked after I had all the stickers down, before the pen.  I used mostly Valentine's Day stickers from ScribblePrintsCo on Etsy, and all the other stickers are from PlannerChickDesigns on Etsy.  I think they worked really great together and look amazing!

This is the full spread after I started writing down some things.  I usually wait until Monday to write most stuff down, as sometimes my to-do list or what I'm going to do business-wise depends on how much I got done the weekend before.

Here is Monday - Wednesday in my planner.  I use the left sidebar as a place to keep track of what I am posting on YouTube and Instagram that week.  Monday - Wednesday look pretty much the same.  I tend to keep the same information on my dates.  I have a to do list, a list for business/craft things, and a notes section that I have appointments, and what I am filming or uploading that day.  The bottom is where I keep track of my work schedule and any happy mail coming in.

And here is Thursday - Sunday, which works basically the same as the beginning of the week.  I love the ombre look of this, which is an idea I got from Andrea, who is the owner of ScribblePrintsCo.  I hate white space in my planner, so I tend to fill up every box with something, and I love how it looks!  I also prefer to write with Sharpie, and don't like Sharpie pens, so I need to use stickers everywhere so it doesn't bleed through!

I hope you enjoyed a look in my planner, how I plan and watching me put stickers down!  I'd love to see your planner spread for Valentine's Day!  Let me know if you have enjoyed this plan with me, and I may do more in the future!  Happy planning and happy crafting!

Valentine's Oreos with Stampin' Up!

Hi everyone!  I am here with my last treat video for Valentine's Day!  This one is so super simple and I hope you love it!  This is another one that involves no stamping and can be so easily mass produced!

I started with just these items to make this cute little packaged oreo!

These chocolate covered Oreos are from my local chocolate store, and I just used a few ribbons and a paperclip with a cute bow to make this little package!

These are great for treat bags and are so quick to mass produce!  I just made 2 for now, but I have a bunch more to make up after I go have dinner and shopping with a friend tonight!

You don't need much because the few things are so beautiful, and the Watermelon Wonder Dotted Lace Trim gives so much depth and texture!

I hope you enjoyed this quick little project!  There have been so many posts in the past week, be sure you check out the post about the giveaway for this month and keep playing along!  I love reading all of your comments, and I'm so excited to see who is going to win at the end of the month!

Conversation Heart Goodie Bags with Stampin' Up!

I am back with more treats!  This is why I love Valentine's Day so much!  Actually, it is why I love any holiday - I love candy and I love making treat bags for all my coworkers and friends!  Today's project is super simple!  These literally take just a few minutes each and turn out adorable - even my husband said they were cute!

This can be used for any type of candy, and I used conversation hearts for these, but will do more with other kinds of candies too!

This is a great example of how you don't even need to use stamps in some projects to make beautiful things!  I love how simple these are, but yet they are so dainty!

This is a great idea to implement for any holiday and can be easily changed up to match the seasons!  I'll be sure to share more ideas like this in the future for other holidays.

And of course it wouldn't be a project of mine without a little bling!  I hope you enjoyed this project, and I'd love to hear your ideas about what you'd make!  Happy crafting!

Nuts About You with Stampin' Up!

Hi everyone!  I have another Valentine's treat idea today, but no chocolate today!  I am using nuts!  I was inspired by someone in my Stampin' Up Facebook group who made a really pretty card using the Acorny Thanks stamp set from the previous Occasions catalog.  I was so inspired that I ran out to the grocery store at 3 am to get nuts so I could make these super cute treat bags!

How cute is that?!  I love that there are multiple ways to use different sets!  Although I have this stamp set in with my Fall/Thanksgiving/Halloween sets, I love I can use it for Valentine's Day too!

It just wouldn't be a Valentine's treat without glitter, right!  There is probably nothing cuter than gold and pink acorns, I love it!

I made a batch of 10 of these in about 45 minutes, and I used 1 large tin of peanuts.  I love how these turned out!  These would be great to give to those people in your life who are trying to stay away from chocolate.  Honey Roasted Peanuts are a little bit better, right?!

I hope you enjoyed this little project, let me know what you think!

More Treats with Stampin' Up!

I wasn't going to do a video today, but I have more treats I want to add to my Valentine's goodie bags, so I thought I'd film it for you guys!  This is pretty much the same process as the wrapped candy bars, but the dimensions are different and I did some different decorating on the outside!

These are wrapped chocolate covered graham crackers that I also purchased from my local chocolate shop.  This is the first one I made, and I wasn't sold on the Cucumber Green trim, so the rest I decided to use Watermelon Wonder and I love how they turned out!

I think this looks a lot better, and I love how it turned out!  I am in love with this trim so much!  It is so easy to work with, and it makes it look like I can actually tie a cute bow, even though I can't!

I whipped up 10 of these in about a half hour, and that included filming the video!  They are super quick and easy!

I'd love to know what you are making for Valentine's Day treats!  Happy Crafting!  Don't forget about this month's giveaway!
